Smokeshow

I love going dancing and the Smokeshow is one of the few places I know in TO with Live Music and a place to dance. See their music schedule here. I often go with friends on the first Sunday of the month, in the afternoon for Danny Marks and to the third Sunday of the month for York Jazz.

What I like about the place is that both men and women get up and just dance. Of course, there are more women than man, and that is typical in my age bracket. It is an older crowd for these events. There are also couples. If you are around my age, you would have known this place when young as the Chicken Deli.
